BioI have written and directed a film called What is It? and I am currently working on its sequel Everything is Fine.
In addition to this I have written several books (after a fashion) and have done spoken word shows. You can order my books as well as a CD of my spoken word and singing at my publication company site Volcanic Eruptions.
Though I believe firmly in a counter-culture film movement, I must appear in mainstream cultural productions to foot the bills of my counter-cultural film projects.
You may know my work in film and television of course. Recently I was in the film version of Charlies Angels and its sequel. And I was featured quite a lot in the remake of Willard.
I've enjoyed cameo appearances in films by such visionaries as David Lynch (Wild at Heart and an episode of Hotel Room) and Jim Jarmusch (Dead Man) as well as Milos Foreman (The People Vs. Larry Flynt) and Trent Harris (Rubin and Ed and The Orkly Kid).
My own film has been compared to Alejandro Jodorowsky. I can only be flattered by this comparison.
People still occasionally accost me and insist that I am 'That guy from Back to the Future'. I tolerate these people with as much charm as I am able to muster on these occasions. But one can only be instructed to 'say that line about Darth Vader again' so many times before one loses ones composure.
No, I don't have a cat and if I did, I don't think any cat could really eat a whole watermelon.
Yes, both Crispin and Hellion and even the unlikely moniker Glover are all my "real" names.
